About Full Moon (Pink Moon 2026)
The Pink Moon is April's full moon, named after the pink wildflower Phlox subulata that blooms in early spring. Despite its name, the moon doesn't actually appear pink in color.
Other names include the Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon, and Fish Moon, all celebrating the abundance of spring.
