About Full Moon (Beaver Moon 2026)
The Beaver Moon is November's full moon, named for the time when beavers are actively preparing for winter by building their dams. It was also the traditional time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze.
This moon signals the approach of deep winter and the end of the harvest season. Other names include the Frost Moon and the Freezing Moon.
